Old school pool is what shaped the foundation of Poolside for the last 20 years and many more years to come.  Poolside is not a skate company relying on the labor and output from outside suppliers.  Unlike a large majority of skate industry companies, Poolside does not outsource the craft of skateboard making.  Raw material is bought from domestic suppliers to be transformed into finished products, all staying well within the 97056 zip code.  I can proudly say I produce sawdust in house not copies of purchase orders for shrink wrapped decks.  Incidentally you can repurpose the plastic deck bags I use.  I do not use shrink wrap.

While shopping other company's websites you may find 80% + of their boards are out of stock.  This is because they are waiting for their shipment of imported product coming from China or Mexico.  My boards are made in small numbers, many times made-to-order, with backstock being produced when possible.

Poolside's concave is custom, not picked out of a catalog.  The market is flooded with overpriced/imported new school boards and virtually all the oldschool decks keep edging higher in price. Poolside will continue to be competitively priced so you can feel comfortable just setting it up to ride.
